PARADOR SAN JUAN DE DIOS

The Parador San Juan de Dios is located in one of the oldest neighborhoods of San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, where historically the property was dedicated to the farming and milling of wheat. The original structures, which are constructed of adobe, stone, tiles and enormous tile roofs, date from the XVII to XIX centuries. The stately gardens that surround these magnificent colonial buildings exemplify the appreciation Parador San Juan de Dios holds for the natural and ecological ambiance of Chiapas.

The Parador offers a total of 12 rooms. Each room has been individually decorated and furnished with elegant antiques and art objects. All rooms have working fireplaces, antique rugs and furniture, old and contemporary paintings and free access to Internet. In addition, all suites have Jacuzzi in the bathroom.

Each room in the Parador San Juan de Dios has been dedicated to different personalities, people who in some way helped to write the vast history of Chiapas and Mexico.

The restaurant "Agapandos" and the outdoor restaurant "The Terrace" specialize in high cuisine, traditional dishes of Chiapas, Mediterranean food, grilled specialties and dishes cooked in our brick oven, accompanied by fresh salads with organic vegetables from the garden.
